Copper scrap is the recovered secondary copper stream — from end-of-life electrical equipment, demolition of infrastructure, industrial offcuts, and recycling operations. It is classified into numbered grades based on copper content, contamination level, and physical form. Each grade carries a different pricing discount to the primary copper price.
